Canada’s Music Incubator

Canada’s Music Incubator (CMI) is a not-for-profit incubator based in Toronto with a mandate to help artists, touring professionals and artist managers evolve from starter companies into sustainable businesses through hands-on networking, mentoring and collaboration.

Originally founded by Coalition Music in 2012, CMI established itself as a distinct entity in November 2014. CMI and all three incubation programs (Artist Entrepreneur, Tour & Tech and Artist Management) reside at Coalition Music, which allows program participants direct access to an active music business environment, a community of like-minded artists across all genres of music, touring professionals, artist managers, industry experts and decades of experience and expertise.

CMI partners and sponsors include: Bell Media, City of Toronto, TD Bank Group, Newcap Radio, Sennheiser, D’addario, Stingray Music and Warner Music Canada.

As an award-winning artist management company Coalition Music represents: Simple Plan, USS, Our Lady Peace, Justin Nozuka, Finger Eleven, Andee, Ben Caplan, Incura, and The Balconies. Collectively, this roster has sold over 12 million albums globally.
